Live electric wire

If any person in order to protect the house, puts live electric wire around the house then can there be any liability for it?

Yes if the electric wire has current which is good enough to cause harm then person can be held liable for such negligence. Especialy when basic care and caution has not been taken. Section 304A of the IPC deals with such situations in case there is a death caused due to such negligence. A famous case Cherubin Gregory v. State of Bihar deals with exactly same situation and the person was held liable since the current flowing was very high and there was no notice given to people of regarding the placement of current flowing wire.
