Sale of property of deceased person

  • 3 Answers

Please mention procedure of selling a Shop (standing in Deceased name) directly to Buyer (without mutation in favour of Successors). But Successors will get Consideration Money (selling value).

There is no such provision, you have to mutate shop in the name of successor

If the purchaser is ready then you can sell it.

Property will first pass on to successors according to Hindu Succession Act if deceased was a Hindu as per legal definition else other relevant personal law. Later successors may decide what they can do with their portion of property..
