As per new amendment, the power of attorney for sale of immovable property has to be compulsorily registered before the sub registrar of assurances. Once poa registered, the attorney can proceed with the sale of property

Yes you may sell the property. The idea of power of attorney is to give authority to other person as the one authorizing is unable to complete the same work. After following all due procedure you can go ahead with the sale as long as the power of attorney gives you that power.
